BE A MAN
BE A MAN!

An expression that is not strange to anyone and that leads me to question: What does “Making a man” really mean?
From a very early age, we hear that a man doesn't cry, he can't wear dresses, he is manly, he doesn't talk about what he feels, he must be the head of the family, he provides protection and security. A man is not weak.
But to what extent should a man close himself off from friends and family because he “isn’t supposed to express himself”? How long will a man continue to be stoned in the street because of his sexuality? How long will they have to hide and live a lie instead of what they want to be?
We live in the 21st century, but the truth is that all of this is still very present in our reality.
During this editorial, we collected anonymous testimonies that allowed us to provide support, and inspiration and reflect on how we can educate our youngest so that they do not live under this pressure or impose it on others.
This editorial allows us to conclude that this is not being a man. Masculinity can wear a skirt, and some earrings and go dancing with vulnerability.
No judgement, no restrictions.
Because “being a man” means being whatever you want!
